The entire history of the house Veuve Clicquot is determined by the great wines that meet the quality requirements that were an obsession for Madame Clicquot. The house remains true to this legacy and the motto is: “Une seule qualité, la toute première” (“only one quality, the first”).
To properly taste the Veuve Clicquot champagne, a certain ritual must be observed. The champagne must be stored at 10 to 12 °C, protected from light. Serving is best at approximately 8 °C. A too low temperature prevents the aromas from developing fully.
The champagne is composed of Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.
