This is the large version of Veuve Cliquot. One of the most famous champagnes available, Veuve Clicquot Brut belongs to the absolute top and is also known as “The Yellow Label”. It is a stylish and luxurious champagne with a full, ripe and powerful character. Partly because of its powerful character, it is a champagne that is perfect for use as an accompaniment to a dinner or to drink as an aperitif. This champagne consists of a composition of three grape varieties, the Pinot Noir (55%), Chardonnay (30%) and the Pinot Meunier (15%).
Veuve Clicuot Brut is one of the most widely consumed champagnes in the world, so it is a champagne of consistent quality. This is achieved by using no less than 60 different crus from the last harvest, and the champagne also consists of 30% vins de reserve. The champagne is placed at least 30 months sur lattes, or aged, in the cellars of Veuve Clicquot, a considerable period compared to the statutory requirement of 15 months!
